Unity Chicago’s BBQ Bash, an annual mini-street fest in Edgewater, returns on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 from 12:30pm - 3:30pm.

Enjoy tasty free food, local vendors, raffle prizes, a Kids & Family Tent, and great live music, all at the beautiful lakefront at the corner of Sheridan Rd. and Thorndale Ave. Bring your family and friends for a fantastic time!

• Live music featuring musician Joe Wray

• Kid's tent with painting, jewelry making, bean bag toss, and more!

• Local vendors including Ruckus Teens, Peacharella, Ice Cream Social

• Raffle drawings with prizes from Beard & Belly, Smoque BBQ, and Ruckus Teens?

• The Night Ministry Winter Wear Collection for essential items to those in need! Full list below

• Food includes choice of entree (hot dog, hamburger, or veggie burger), plus various sides, beverages, and cake!

Suggested entry ticket is $20.
Ticket includes: food plate, 1 raffle ticket, discount ticket at Beard & Belly restaurant

It's also for those in our community who need our help
We're supporting The Night Ministry, a local nonprofit, at this event as they start collecting winter items

Bring your items to the BBQ Bash and receive one raffle ticket to the drawing that afternoon

Items needed:
Winter gloves
Handwarmers
Body wash (full size bottles)
Body lotion (full size bottles)
Shampoo & conditioner (full size bottles)
Shower / body wipes (packages)

The Night Ministry will start to distribute these items to their shelter programs in early October.

RAIN OR SHINE! For inclement weather this event will be held inside in our large Social Hall for the same fun, food, concert, and vendors.
