An Epic Tale of Black Women's Mothering by Dr. Amira Davis

This presentation will be a combination performance and lecture on chapters of Davis' book on Black women's mothering.

She will perform songs related to Black women's mothering and read excerpts from her book.

35 years of "arts in education" performances using African percussions, drums, storytelling, and songs.

All ages and nationalities are welcomed!

May 18 at 3:00PM - Entry is free

Show duration: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes with no intermission
